Air Host and Clean was incorporated in 2018 to fill a huge gap in the market that was serviced accommodation management.  We aimed to provide the services which with hindsight we wished were around when we were starting up.  We found for example when we went on holiday our place had to remain empty because we couldn't do the change over, whilst travelling communication was difficult.  So we've been there, done that and worn the t-shirt as the saying goes!  We aim to make hosting as pain free as possible and enhance your earnings as much as we can.

With over 25 years of Hotel Management Experience Joanne brings to the table a vast array of skills and knowledge built up within the industry.  With extensive accounts experience Brian’s is the Finance Director ensuring payments received are up to date, finalising monthly owners accounts and keeping a strong eye on investor revenue.

Other members of the team are: Natalie who is primarily responsible for the set up and on boarding of new properties, she deals with everything from dealing with broadband to organising maintenance and refurbishing properties. David is our property manager and ensures that all properties are in A1 condition to ensure 100% guest satisfaction at all times. Angela is our superstar personal assistant. Her primary role is to assist Jo in quotes, staffing, tasks and she also manages the customer database and trains other Virtual Assistants to work within the business. Working alongside Angela is our very own superstar Yssa, her main role is guest communication ensuring all guests are accurately vetted and have completed all processes. Jero is our data entry assistant and assists Brian with all the financial information from bookings and converts them into investor pay outs.

In 2019 it became apparent that investors were seeking a completely hand off solution including the furnishing and set up of their properties which is where the furnishing and dressing element of the business came into play. To date we have furnished and dressed over 10 properties and a sample of these can be found below.

The training side of the business (Air Host and Learn) was developed from a need that became apparent when advising other operators after mistakes had occurred predominantly.  So Jo was giving advice to operators who said “Booking.com sold my property for £20 per night” or “how do I increase my cleaning fee on Airbnb” when she suddenly realised that nobody was teaching all the intricacies of serviced accommodation.  There were trainers teaching sourcing and how to get properties, there were people teaching how to scale your business but nobody was teaching the nitty gritty in the middle, all the how to type stuff that if you don’t get right will come back to bite your business and cost you financially.  Now ihaving trained more than 100 people completing an Air Host and Learn between them they operate in excess of 250 properties.   With a private facebook group offering assistance and support the group is going from strength to strength and more advanced modules will follow in the next 12 months.
